The Wireless and Smart Bio-electronics (WiSe) lab at ShanghaiTech is an interdisciplinary lab that seeks to develop bioelectronic tools and stimulus-responsive materials to address the scientific and technical challenges faced by personal and clinical healthcare. Our research focuses on bio-electronic signal communication and multimodal devices for sensing and stimulation. We integrate these technologies in bioelectronic systems to endow healthcare procedures with digital intelligence.

Nov. 11 2025 Dr. Xiong hosted an online iCANX Youth Talk, inviting Xiao Yang from Johns Hopkins University and Pengju Li from The University of Chicago to share their inspiring works.
